The Knotted Gun by Carl Fredrik Reuterswärd is an enduring symbol of peace, its twisted barrel a powerful reminder of choosing harmony over conflict. Inspired by this iconic piece, I created my own interpretation as a homage to the original sculpture.
My goal was reimagine this symbol as a reminder of our ongoing pursuit of empathy and understanding. This piece is both a tribute to Reuterswärd’s vision and a reflection on how his message of peace resonates deeply in our world today. The project is done in collaboration with the peace organization Non Violence USA.
